Little Roots is a Montessori-inspired mini classroom and parent education space for families who want to raise confident, capable children without outsourcing their role as the primary guide.
This is not a full-time homeschool or daycare. It is a weekly enrichment experience, combined with parent coaching, to help Montessori principles extend naturally into your home.
Ages Served
This is a 3-6 year old mini montessori classroom. Children can potentially start by ages 2.5 depending on readiness.
Prepared Montessori Environment
All materials are authentic Montessori materials made with quality and care. The environment is set up for the child to thrive and the child will be met at their specific level.
3 Hour Sessions
The Montessori Method uses a 3-hour work cycle, that is implemented for focused uninterrupted time where the child can develop a focused rhythm.
What Education is Offered?
Practical life, transition work, sensorial, writing, math, language, and unit studies (zoology, botany, anatomy, etc.)
2 Children Per Class
The space offers a very personal experience for the child where at an extremely one on one level. I, as the guide, will watch and observe the child, to enhance the skills they are currently working on.
1:1 Parental Montessori Coaching
This is an added feature if the parent would like guidance in the home or if they would want the opportunity to rent the classroom and have access to the Montessori materials!
